When I was first competing it was prohibitively expensive as Protropin was the only thing around.
I first used generic GH in 2009 or 2010 and it made a difference, but I used short runs of 6-8 weeks. Somehow I never bought the line that it needed months to work, and my own results proved that out.
Since that time the price is down roughly 2/3rds and so I experimented with a longer run, in the end finding it not worth it, and I will be going back to my short runs.
I don't like using things I don't feel are needed or provided an unquestionably significant benefit (including risk/benefit ratios).
Your premise is does reduced cost equal increased use and I think that's something that should not necessarily be equivocated.
More isn't always better, at least in my experience.
