HCG and Pinning

I always run 250iu HCG twice a week while on and use a 29g 1/2" insulin pin. I make a 5ml batch using bact. water and it gives me 250iu per 1/4 ml. I always inject the day before my test injection and use the same pin to inject that I use to extract the fluid from the 10ml HCG container that it's stored in.

The problem that I've always experienced, although have grunted through, is that the pin is slightly dulled for my subQ injection into my stomach, so it takes some amount of force to pierce it through the skin. Not too fun.

Because the pin isn't removable, I'm unable to switch it out for a new pin once I extract the fluid. I thought about removing the plunger, add the liquid to a new pin/syringe, although there then is 3/4ml of air to contend with ontop of the fluid once the plunger is reintroduced to the syringe.

Anyone have any experience and tips to share? Thanks in advance for your time.

I'd imagine dismantling the slinpin would expose your HCG to more airborne pathogens before injecting, so that's not good. Plus you'd be using 2 pins for a single injection.

It might be preferable to order sum extra gear syringes, along with some 29ga. pins to swap out & inject with. Could save you from infection and the discomfort of dulled pins. Of course you'd have to pay more!

You know, I guess I never thought to look to purchase 29g pins alone since I didn't they sold them nor think they were interchangeable with the 23/25g syringes that I have. I'll have to search for that one. Thanks.

J_Diggs don't for get those inter changeable pins like the BD 3ml ones with the blue Luher lock will hold .1 ml of fluid once once the plunger is fully depressed so to get your 250iu's you would have to load more than 1/4ml in the plunger to make up for the loss of the .1ml in the luher lock portion. I have some 29g 1/2 inch pins and tried back loading them with plain old water for shits and giggles and it works out great. Just tap the slin pin a bit to get the air bubble to come to the top and your good. You would have to use 4 pins a week but there cheap, its more accurate, and you won't loose any precious HCG in the luhr lock. Practise backloading with old pins and some tap water.

I just deal with the dull pin; at least it's not a 22g. But I have a bud who says he mixes it then draws it up into a syringe and then removes the needle on the sryinge and draws the hcg out through the tip of the syringe when he's ready to use it; then places the needle back on the syringe and puts hcg in the storage syringe back into the fridge. Was that understandable?
