HCG during contest diet

Last week I started with 250 HCG twice a week. I also had a 4 day run with some protein bars high in sugar alchohal. Nothing else is different and I am up 5 pounds on the scale. Puts me 10 pounds away form weigh with 7 weeks to go. Was it the sugar alchohals or the hcg by chance? I am running a cut stack and eg right now.

Its not the HCG.

Not unless you experienced added water retention from the increase in testicular testosterone and total testosterone.
 
I would prob say some of the fillers in the protein bar and maybe even some gluten and sugar alcohols contributed to the weight fluctuation.
 
Each gram of carb (glycogen)causes an uptake of 3 grams intermuscular h2o t
thus the carb up effect. If you have been low to med carbs with low glycemic index for some time then take in simple concentrated carbs as you described then you carbed up somewhat and hopefully not much in the way of spillover .Not gonna be the hcg as that small amount would boost your T up a bit but probably not enough for estro related wtaer retention- not 10 lbs worth anyway. T
 
Probably the carbs, somewhat.

You could drop .25 to .5mg of Adex and find out. It'll only dry you out anyway.
