Honestly that doesn't look that bad but I also don't know how long he has been on this protocol or where he values started from. Meaning, did he get an original SA that showed no viable sperm and now he's making good progress some months later?

One thing I had to learn (which I knew but I was in a hurry lol) was this does take some time...even if you do everything to speed it up.

I think if he adds HMG...even 75iu 2-3 times a week he will see dramatic results and it will take him over the top.

hCG is an FSH and LH mimetic. It will keep them suppressed. FSH, LH and hCG have an alpha and beta subunit. All three have the same beta subunit. They are so similar that hCG will suppress release of LH and FSH. He should have a sperm count done to see if things are going in the right direction.
