Yeah, dropping test was not an option for me. I've been on test and other steroids for over 28 years now, and I don't think my system would ever recover naturally. I needed to keep test in the program, for health reasons and for libido.
Thankfully, if you are on HCG and HMG, you are bypassing the normal negative feedback from the pituitary you would get from using exogenous testosterone. You are injecting your hormones, not producing them, and so the results you get for your sperm count depend on how much HCG and HMG you can inject, tolerate the side effects, and afford. Fertility is an expensive business, so being able to afford enough HMG or FSH is sadly often the limiting factor.
i only ran 36iu twice a week and varying amounts of hcg the other days.
i have some pharma Gonal FSH in the fridge in case... but just started some trest so will be a while before i try for fertility again
