I am looking at running HCG and from what I am reading 250 iu's 3 times a week is a good protocol.

I see it is supplied in amps and it seems each amp contains 5000 iu's . . . am I reading that correctly and if so, how is it stored once opened?

I guess what I was curious about Ness, is it stored on the original amp? From using test anps, I can't see ho wit can be done in a sterile fashon.

ness is correct. Once it has been reconstituted you need to refrigerate it and it is really only good for a month - 45 days after that intial reconstitution.

Well........

most people get insulin pins. Then mix the whole amp, then draw up 250-500iu's in each pin. Then you just store in the fridge. Pull one out when needed.

I always buy a few empty 10ml vials when I get my bac water. They are $1.50 each. They work very well for storing hcg.

500 twice a week here as well. FWIW mine is by prescription and the warning/instruction sheet in the box says it is fine for 60 days in the fridge.

got a question
so im doing my first cycle january 5th

12 weeks of test e at 500mg a week
and 10 weeks of EQ at 400mg a week
i have nolva and i am gonna get some HCG

was it hard to mix
and to figure how much an IU is
like is 1cc 250 iu?
can u give me a braekdown kinda of how it works
i would appreciate it

I like to store mine in a 10ml vial mixed with enough bac water (should be about 9cc's) so that each cc gives me 500 iu's. (Therefore, 1/2 cc would be 250 iu's, obviously.)

And, of course, stored in the fridge.

Well...I reconstitute HCG with 1ml water and inject it 10IUs at a time with a slin pin...

I think you might want to re-think what youre doing.

The method I mentioned is the one several reputable people suggested it and I prefer it. First off by using the BAC you can store it longer in the fridge.
Also, it makes for easier dosing especially if you prefer IM over sub-q.

-Should be very easy to mix, the powder should almost dissolve instantly when you introduce the BAC water.

-slin pins have IU's marked on them.

-It all depends on how much BAC water you mix into the powder. For example my vials come with 10,000 IU of powder. However much BA water I mix it with is what I divide it by. I inject 2 cc of water into my vial and so therefor .5cc of the mixture would be 2500 IU. My slin pins are .5cc and are marked every 5 IU. So .1 cc ends up being 500 IU which is what I do twice weekly. Very small injection.

Why would you inject hCG IM?

Also even if you were to only mix 1 cc of the BA water with the powder you can still refrigerate it for the same amount of time.

Am I missing something here?

I am glad not to be injecting 1 ml of it twice weekly if I don't have to be. Especially subQ as per the instructions.

Please let me know if I am missing something here.

Why would you inject HCG IM? Whats the advantage? Its easier to break the amp and reconsitute it with 1cc of steril water, then pre-load your slin pins from that. Youre making a simple thing way more than it should be.
