HCT woes- what next

After trying everything (donating, Natto, IP6, extreme hydration, daily low dose trt etc) it appears I was able to lower my HCT via use of a cpap. I only had mild apnea but after 5 weeks I noticed I no longer felt symptomatic. I had elevated BP, headaches, sweating, tinnitus, itchy skin, shortness of breath from consistently high (57-60) HCT. All those symptoms seem to be gone. I no longer feel that daily head pressure associated with high HCT. I ran full bloods on Thursday and for the first time since on TRT+ saw a HCT within range.

I take 10mg Test Prop daily and 2-4IU growth. I have been on Natto 2x/daily (Neprinol AFD) for 9 months and Naringin 500mg 2x/daily for 4 months. My HCT was last tested 2/26/26 and was 57.4.

I think only the CPAP and of course donations have moved my HCT. Power red drops my ferritin and I don't like being dependent upon the donation process. The frequency is limited by the center and sometimes or my hemoglobin is too high and they won't take my blood.

Probably a mistake but in a effort to reach my strength and vanity goals I am going to try 15 mg Test Prop daily now. I enjoy the immediate feedback I get from it.

Dude, nice work. Most people give up trying to lower hematocrit and just make up excuses like walking around with 60 hematocrit on TRT is “normal”. Glad to see you put in the work and are getting the right results!

I started my CPAP in February, and after 4 weeks, I went from 54 to 50 hematocrit. My hematocrit came back at 49 a few weeks ago. As much as I don't like the idea of using a CPAP, it's really made a big difference in my quality of life.

Supps do nothing to lower my levels. Had apnea surgery over 25 years ago so i don't need a cpap. Donating is how i manage my levels. Been doing it that way for over 25 years.
