Head shaving/bald look

IM finally giving up my hair, I should have a long time ago, and going bald.

I used to use 3 blade when I shaved it in the past, but it takes forever. I recently went to a barber and he actually used an electric and said it gets it "true bald" where. 3 blade doesn't. I would like to use an electric to shave it since I plan to have to shave it every 2-3 days to keep it smooth. Any reccomendations? Will any head shaver due from walmart>? Does anyone use an actual blade, or triple blade?

I figure with the down time I mind as well learn to shave my head so I don't have to always go to the barber. I can say though trimming my own beard ever works. I always mess it up and it looks uneven and I have to get a barber to fix it.

I use a Mach-3 on my head 2x per week. Sometimes 3x if I am going out to an event. My wife usually does it for me, but I have done it by myself several times and rarely leave any high spots. I cannot imagine getting a closer shave than what I get with a standard razor (over electric).

I rock the jason statham look. 5 o'clock shadow on the face and buzz my head with a 1 on the side and fade into 1.5 on top. looks great imo. but I have like exact kinda hairline etc as jason stathom. on honeymoon someone asked me if I was him lol

I used to shave my head with a razor when I was 19-20 (I was a Boston hardcore skinhead).
I would touch it up every morning in the shower. Daily maintenance made it easier to keep on top of.
Man, was it cold though in Massachusetts winters...

i shave my head with a razor. i didnt want to be that guy hanging on to threads. i wear a hat alot but i always have even growing up as a kid. but i have facial hair and line it up nice. i give myself an 8 hahahaha

I use Gillett Fusion (Five blades) and it has always worked great. It will take ya a little while to get used to it, but you WILL get used to it. These days I can shave my head and face in probably less than 10 minutes.

When I shaved mine i used the same thing I used on my face (Mach 4 I think it was then)
Had to give up the shaved head look cause of my resemblance to Shrek.
Some people just don't have a pretty head.
If it gets any thinner I'll just keep it buzzed with no guard

When I used to shave my head bald, I'd use a Gilette Fusion Proglide and that worked great. I also had a clipper from Philips that shaved completely bald and that also worked great. I would not buy just any kind of clipper though, invest in a good one (the more expensive ones) from the beginning or you'll just waste money.

wahl clippers like they use in the barber Best investment ever. Can literally do the head in less than 5 minutes and I think its like getting a 1 but Just do it all over. I honestly will probably never go blade, actually I know I wont lol. Just buzz with clippers.

Ah i cant go razor. I can go 1mm with a electric razor and it still looks good, but razor...fuck, i'd bleed out.
I went BIG ass beard and shaved head this offseason. Just trimmed the beard down and have somewhat let my hair grow out since the STAY IN HOME order lol.

I'm at that point where the top of my head is thinner, like no direct hair line and its receding.

Same here. Every woman that has seen me with and without hair says I'm better looking bald. I got lucky in the head-shape department I guess.
