Hey everyone
Trying to help my mate who is 21yo rugby player
Main problem is right shoulder
Shoulder feels 100%,but one impact or tackle in the game shoulder hurts him for week

Then pain settles down but easily aggravated

Anything he can do or try to help with the injury?

I was thinking gh,Bpc and tb500,but not sure how peptides can help with fluids in the joints/ cavities tbh

…..

Bro forget peptides tell him to see a shoulder specialist to diagnose his injury the shoulder is a complex joint..labrum..rotator cuff..ac joint. Then maybe rest, surgery, or pt etc.

First, stop doing / avoid doing what is causing the pain.

Get the best “shoulder doc” you can afford.

My left shoulder is fucked structurally (80% bone on bone.) but what has been a savior is hyaluronic acid, cortisone, and PRP injection (all at the same time . . the needle stays in). First visit, took a few weeks to have a positive effect. Subsequent visits, positive effects were almost immediately felt, like the next day is not sooner. And I remain pain free until the next visit. I do this once a quarter, in fact getting it done week. Hoping the PRP will stimulate some some cartilage re-growth. And hoping to stave off a shoulder replacement . . . but not bad enough . . . yet . . . fingers crossed.

Hope this helps.

Yeah, this isn't a "take some peptides and he'll be back" type injury. This is something where he probably needs to see an orthopedic surgeon to get something fixed. Yes, peptides may be helpful later on down the line...but you're in step 1 and you're thinking about step 15.

I say this as someone who, like alfresco, has a degenerative L shoulder that has gone under the knife twice. Both full labrum and rotator cuff and probably needs something now (not going in until its unbearable). You cannot put duct tape on a 747. Get him to see a specialist and he'll be much better off.

Peptides have never helped heal any tear or rupture that i have had. Surgery was the only cure for me. I like sports med orthopedic surgeons myself who also deal with pro athletes. I have had good luck at university hospitals as they can be more up to date then some places.

I recently had shoulder surgery for a torn labrum. I have been dealing with it for 15 years. The first 10 were fine. The last 5 were getting progressively more miserable. To the point where I quit training chest and shoulders for about 1 year about a year now. I also was not able to walk for more than a mile without my shoulder aching from your natural gait. When walking hurts your shoulder, you have a problem.

During those 5 years I tried anything and everything. BPC-157, TB500, HGH, therapy shoulder exercises, weird gadgets and gizmos I would see on instgram that promised to fix shoulder pain.

All of it to be right here where I am, 6 weeks post op stuck in a brace and not allowed to touch a weight (upper body) for 3 more months.

If I had to do it all over again, 5 years ago, I would have saw the specialist, got the surgery, and saved myself money and more importantly my time that I wasted on those gadgets and gizmos.

Like everyone else said, just get to a shoulder specialist and get it addressed.

Well I'm going to contradict what everyone is saying here. However, I do agree with post #5. Time to sit it out a bit and rest.

That being said, the peptides. There's a ton of research backing BPC157 and injuries. From the NFL to the Olympics. I can tell you personally that I was days from going to the emergency room because my right shoulder was fkn killing me. It literally took 2 500mcg pins for that shit to nearly be non existent. TB500 is more for organs but the GH would help with recovery also. I always get my stuff from MikeA.

I'll attach a video of a guy who states he recovered from a quad tear in 4 weeks with BPC/GH. Not sure if it was this exact one but it's in there somewhere.

Shoulder doc bro. You can’t just fix that one.
For rehab check out Knees over toes guys shoulder routines, they helped me tons , Ben Patrick

Sports ortho appointment.
Shoulder MRI (with arthrogram preferably).
May have to wait and do PT first before approval.
Once the problem is diagnosed you go from there.

Rugby is a brutal sport. He needs to take a break and not do
further damage. I had a roommate in college who played regularly.
I reset his nose 3 maybe 4x.

As someone who's gone through rotator cuff surgery (x2),
all I can say is the surgical recovery was painful, long (9 months)
but thankfully due to an excellent surgeon I have 100% ROM in
both shoulders.

BPC-157, TB 500, GH and test made a huge difference in my recovery
over those 8-9 months. They did nothing prior to surgery IME.

Ok I see he did have an MRI, that's great.
Any idea what percentage the supra tear was?
In my case my R shoulder supra was >50% torn.
My L shoulder supra was a total tear including a
>50% tear in my subscap. Both required surgery.

With a "partial tear" I think BPC 157/TB 500/GH would be a good initial attempt. In addition to sitting out for a month or two unfortunately.

I worked in medical device sales, full joint replacement etc.

It's well known and accepted that Surgeons prefer surgery because that's how they get paid. Also, most have 0 idea what peptides are.

Stem cells in Mexico or South America would be best but sounds like you're from Australia.

Get an MRI and diagnosis before taking anything.

yeah, Alex Kikil or whatever he is called makes such claims all the time.
He has healed hundreds of cancer patients according to him.
my opinion: marketing.. nothing else.
A real tendon tear wont heal in 4 weeks, no matter what. I tore my tri tendon and used massive amounts of hgh/BPC/TB500 during that time.
I would say the healing time was accelerated by a good amount but nothing about 4 weeks.. and surgery was required beforehand

Kikel is a total quack

I have had a ton of surgeries including multiple shoulder surgeries on each side..

In all honesty, rehab it and medicate it on your own…the technology simply isn’t there to fix a shoulder back to 100%.

Me and Dave Tate had this talk recently..shoulder replacement alone is 20* years to perfection…it isn’t like knees and hips at all

I had a tibial plateau fracture a couple years ago and ended up with 7 screws and a plate in my leg. I recently went to check up with the surgeon who did my final surgery and he recommended running a short test/HGH cycle. There was no further direction after the statement. I am making progress, but still have muscle atrophy in my left leg. Someone else said test/anavar/hgh. Any recommendations on test dosage, length of cycle, GH vs. MK-677 or Sermorelin? I've seen PCT including Clomid, Novadex, Armidex, HCG, etc. Any recommendations would be great as this is very new for me.

Lol, does this surgeon happen to be selling you the drugs? 🤔

Late reply, but getting inflammation and pain under control doesn't mean any underlying injury is healing. Just like the case of the friend in the original post. He plays rugby, it hurts him, then it eventually feels better. He posted that it's a torn tendon, a ruptured ligament, and bursitis. I'm sure BPC157 would help the inflammation/control pain, including the bursitis, but it's not going to heal a torn tendon and ruptured ligament.
