So all my friends are back in town for summer. I have one year left of school left. I have really put my alcohol consumption in check during the semester, and I am starting summer school soon so that will help but its hard to stay off the booze with all my friends. But hey fuck it, its my senior summer of college. If I am going to drink what are some suggestions on drinks that are better for you. I love whiskey but I know dark liquors have a ton of shit in them thats just bad for you. Vodka Orange Juice of course is one of the better alternatives but is to much OJ bad for you? Vodka anything really, buddy has got me on gin and pink lemonade lately, kinda girly but its good.

Red wine or the lightest beer you can find.
 
Any of them in excess are going to be bad for you.
Any of them in moderation aren't going to kill you.
 
Many alcoholics drink vodka because it has the least amount of impurities - therefore hangover is minimized.

In the end, you will binge drink in college and then live a normal life (drinking a couple of drinks a day to maximize your HDL), or you are genetically addictive - in which case drinking will become a problem.

In regard to having an addictive personality, there is not much you can do about the end game. Everyone in my family was an alcoholic, but they all lived to their mid 80s.

Too much of the AAS may have a much more detrimental effect.

Sugar free Red bull and Vodka...or any hard alcohol with a diet soda..rum and diet DP is pretty good too!!..all in moderation of course!!;)
 
vodka and crystal light. Oj has a ton of sugar so if you drink several of them you might as well drink anything u want. You can also get sugar free juices like sugar free cranberry juice.

This is a workout/bodybuilding forum, isn't it? Alright, if you are consigned to drinking, even though it will screw with your gains in muscle and losses in fat, then you want to have the least impact alcohol.

Alcohol is in it's own category as a carb/sugar, with 7 calories per gram as opposed to 4. Just FYI. It's weird like that.

Beer and wine, stay away from. I don't care what stories there are about antioxidants and 1 glass being good for you, too many calories by the time you get the amount of alcohol you want.

Vodka is now your friend and only friend as far as drinking. I highly suggest getting accustomed to vokda/soda. It has the least amount of calories per drink (approx 55) and the least impurities, if you even care. I have never really gone for the clear/dark liquors theory, because it all affects me the same. Also, if you are a senior in college, you are old enough to drink in bars. Get used to something you can order there for when you and your buddies go out. No bar will carry Crystal Light.
 
Do you make a living of your looks? If not.. fuck it. enjoy ur summer. It's not gonna make much of a difference anyways. I know plenty of guys who can drink and maintain a good physique and make gains.

I only drink occasioally but I would probably have a super distilled vodka, red wine, or crappy light light beer.

Tequila always made my knuckles hurt when I was younger.:)
 
You all drink like pussies:p. Either Vodka, triple distilled, on the rocks, or Jameson neat. I'm kidding of course. However Vodka on the rocks with a glass of water between drinks would be the least detrimental. Not healthy but the least detrimental. Or if you want to, order vodka on the rocks with water back. If the bartender doesnt know what that means your at a crappy bar.
 
I use white zinfandel in box to mix my viagra powder with before I tap the gf. :D
