Healthy Fats

The best if you boil your meet not fry.

Of course frying is definitely something to avoid at all costs, but BOILING...

The extreme heat in itself will destroy whatever micronutrients/good fats contained in meat or any type of food whatsoever for that matter... NOT a good idea. Not to mention the total loss of taste it causes.

STEAM cooking yes, boiling no!

What healthy fats do you consume daily and when?

A gentleman on here recommended organic lard the other day and it inspired me to research and i found this **broken link removed**

I do coconut oil + 1 avo + flaxseed oil + fish oil . sometimes natural PB

"In fact, if you mix 1 part olive oil with 1 part coconut oil, the resulting mixture of fats (sat, mono, poly) will match lard’s fat composition numbers almost exactly. Butter and ghee are a little more balanced than olive oil and coconut oil but they have nearly twice the percentage of saturated fat that lard has."
I think oil is full of fat, but what kind of fat is very important to. You must consider about the good fat in that product and then take advantage of it. For example, coconut oil is one of them, it has good fat so that it can help you a lot not only for working out, but also for other issues.
I will give you another example of good fat is sardines. This guy is amazing.
Even though they're low in total fat, sardines are a good source of omega-3 fatty acids. These fatty acids lower levels of cholesterol and triglycerides in your blood. They also prevent irregular heart rhythms, slow down the growth of arterial plaques and fight inflammation. They’re packed with heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids, and they’re a natural source of vitamin D, which is typically obtained from enriched foods. You can use sardines for your diet, or supplement before working out. It can help you work out more effective. You can see more info in this link :) Hope you have the best way.

:p

Soon, languages like French, Italian or German will be like ancient Greek or Latin today... only mastered by a very small elite. I fear only English and Spanish will survive to the inexorable ascent of Chinese and Arab...

if the past has any reflection of the future :) great post

Correct.

Only animal sources of om3's are absorbable in their original form by humans. That's why using flax, canola (colza) or hemp is not only pointless, but also potentially dangerous cause of their toxic byproduct once digested.

Too bad seas are so polluted, loading fat fishes with so many poisons and heavy metals... hard to trust food nowadays, whatever it is...

do you know of any studies disproving flaxseed oil as advantageous for us?

I would love to educate myself more and show my clients.

If it truly is, I will switch to fish oil (no burp) formula. I always get burps

thank you for your perspective

try carlsons brand fish oil

if that doesn't work then Nordic naturals

you should be fine with burping issue mate. all the best

Boiled meat... no thank you. I want to eat healthy but that is just wrong. I enjoy all of my meals and life eating boiled meat would be a dull one for me. Regardless of seasoning afterwards it simply takes away from the pleasure of eating meat. As you state steaming is great for many things. For meat it has to be fried (coconut oil), grilled or baked for me. Now fish I can steam and it tastes great but there is no chance you will find me boiling/steaming beef.

Agreed

Try to never cook with oils since they burn very easy and that chemical reaction produces very toxic carcinogenic molecules and free radicals. Peanut oil burns at higher temp, but still the best to cook is lard or butter.

Perfectly said...
