Heart attack

No, but I work with a lot of guys that have went through this.

They are fine now with IF and blood almost as good as mine now but they had to really work on diet and cardio.

I work in a job with extremely high PT standards and super mentally taxing performance standards..but most were able to come back
Well that's at least encouraging to hear this..yeah I need to step up the cardio.
Maybe I was just scared to push it.

Have you experience of a heart attack?
I wouldn't say my fat was super high @ about 18%.
Normally I'm lower & my diet has been better.
It's difficult as my doctor says take it easy ,& others say go for it.
Yes, 18% is fat

and i still think you’re being disingenuous

maybe i just have a bias towards you fog breathers

this doesn’t interest me anymore, continue with your fake heart attack thread

i‘m out

Redneck is one word, limey
Limey? If you can't write properly on this thread why not just go fishing or hog hunting like you good 'ol boys do.
You seriously have issues my friend. That's the thing with Internet forums, always a few jerks around.

How about getting into the real nuts and bolts of why you had the heart attack besides "the genetics that you were dealt". From there members can help with some ideas.

-How do your current labs look?
-How have your labs looked over the last 25 years"
-Past gear use- dosages, durations, compounds, oral use, AI use and dosages"
-With your "genetic history" at what ages did you have a coronary calcium scan, CT angiogram, and stress echo?
-What has been your average BF% the last 25 year, how much cardio?
-Past and current blood pressure?
-Past diet over the last 25 years?
-Alcohol and Rec drug use, stimulant use, nicotine, smoking?

On 9/27/22 I had a quadruple bypass and a new mitral valve...I had complications after the surgery...my BP was consistently very low...4 days after the surgery and not having eaten a thing in 4 days a team of doctors stood around my bed while a nurse squished a big bag of epinephrine/adrenaline into a port in my neck...I instantly sat up ( think the scene in pulp fiction when Travolta shoots a big syringe of adrenaline into umas heart) and yelled they were trying to kill me...I was discharged on October 14...I lost 35 pounds in 28 days...it took me a month before I could walk around my block...I started lifting again in December and had lots of issues with feeling faint a few sets in...I am getting back to normal...I benched 225 3x5 this morning...a few months ago I couldn't do a single push up...lastly, I got a statement from the Cleveland clinic and the cost for surgery and a 28 day stay was $520,000!...

Hi my name's John & I've a question of a medical nature. Just curious if anyone else has had a similar experience & how it worked out.
In the beginning of February I had a heart attack & recieved 2 Stents in an artery. I'm sure people know what a stent is but I'll just quickly say it's a metal tube or mesh inserted into a blocked or partially blocked artery.
How quickly did anyone with this start seriously training again,?
Will be be speaking to my cardiologist soon so I will naturally ask.
Just wondering if anyone here had this experience.
Thanks John.
Start off slow man.
Walk on a treadmill literally slowly just to keep fresh.

Really take a look at your diet. You had plaque build up.

Apple cider vinegar when you wake up.
Fresh lemon with water as well at least 8-16 ounces.
Take fish oil, primrose oil, something directly for cholesterol.
Fiber supplement is crucial

Cut protein intake down. Chicken breast, salmon, tofu if you like it.

Tons of leafy greens, spinach, kale. Eat veggies with every meal.

This needs to be a lifestyle change for you. You’re still young.

You need your calcium score. Cardiac ct scan. Take it slow

Diet is important right now.

Thanks I did read that Apple cider vinegar was good, will try it.
I'm now on a Mediterranean type diet now.

Good information thanks. Luckily I like most things you've wrote.
Just going to have a nice salad soon with tuna. What people forget is somd salad dressings are calorie bombs. So using oil

On the weight training I think 2 body parts a session are enough.
Definitely don't have the stamina I had before so I've started with just 1 set per exercise & now I use 2 sets per exercise.
Sounds pretty pathetic but I think it's ok for now.
It's weird thinking I've 2 stents in my chest now.
I was told it's a main artery which is responsible for 2 thirds of my heart. I was 3,5 hours in the OP & awake. I got something so it seemed like 10 minutes.
The pain at first was excruciating & I seriously nearly passed. I honestly was lucky on that day. I remember thinking honestly, f*ck it ..it's happening. I had accepted it.
The second night in the hospital I woke up & really thought for a moment it was a dream..hard to explain.
But it is what it is...

Don't listen to guys on a forum, follow the advice of your professional. Goodluck with the recovery.

Our medical system sucks! In addition, doctors are going to follow a super conservative plan in order to cover their ass legally as opposed to what is really best for the patient. If I followed the advice of my docs, I would have been dead many times over the past 7 years.

Not answering, so my Troll Radar has just bleeped.
