Heating you gear??

Whats your guys thoughts on this? At what temp would the gear be degraded or damaged? I'm courious about this b/c at 10 sec in the microwave the gear does seem to go in easier and less pain! Any info. would be appreciated.

im not sure abt the temp, but the microwave is a little much lol IMO
i just run the barrell of the pin under the hot water from a faucet. it does the trick.
and if u heat the barrell in a micro, wouldnt it possibly melt the plastic barrell and cause it to either deform or release chemicals contained in the plastic?

Well I take the needle off prior and only put in the wave for 10sec. Never had a problem with it melting but it did warm it nicely! I was just curious as to wether it could cause damage to the molecule.

anyhow, if I needed to heat mine (which I wouldnt unless something was wrong) I would just use hot water. maybe if anything Microwave your water
THEN put the vial in the hot water.

Again, if its a finished product why heat or microwave it?
you think a doc would do that? I just done see how it could help but I do see how it could burn a hole in yer azz,lol

i set it on top of my computer monitor where the heat comes out for a few mins while I'm workin, gets it nice and warm... goes in smooth...

LOL. That's funny raj. No, it makes 2cc's go in much easier. Just wondering if it affected my gear is all. Thanks guys!!
