Not trying to sound like billy badass but I've broken two bars in a week doing dead and squat. Anyone have any recommendations for bars of high quality. Mine said it was rated for 800lbs. I put 510 on it and after I stripped the weight the bar had a nice bend.

Sounds like you have some low quality bars man.... Get a couple of good quality bars, Texas deadlift bar and squat bar are some of my favorites.... Unless you're squatting some super heavy weight you won't bend a squat bar... Deadlift bars have a bit more slack in them because they are longer and skinnier but usually have wayyh better knurling and don't develop bends in them.

Rogue makes some awesome bars that are guaranteed I believe. Also i heard iron wolf and west side bars are pretty awesome.

SOB these bars are expensive, I've been using the same bar for a long time and it's still holding up.

I've been very happy with my Buddy Capps Texas Power Bar. I like Rogue for a lot of things, but this bar is comparable to any powerbars they sell and you'd be supporting a small company.

Many good bars mentioned already, but my favorite is always IVANKO. I don't think a better bar is made.

York barbell, I still have my original mint 315lb set from 1986.
Perfect fit and no collars needed ..Even though it came with collars.
