Hi i need serious help figuring whats going on...

Heres my blood Test

27 years old,5.11 200 pound

Testosterone Free 338.0 (223.0 - 915.0 pmol/L) THATS LOW.... i want this higher...

Testosterone total 13.0 (10.0 - 30.0 nmol/L) Suppose to be AT LEAST 24.0 THATS 374 ng/dL of total Test at 27 years old!
Took a real drop there dont know why???

SHBG 24.0 (12.0 - 46.0 nmol/L) Seem kinda lowish???

FSH 6.2 (1.0 - 18.0 UI/L)

Oestradiol 110 pmol/L <= 156 pmol/L (30 pg/mL) Want this at 20???

Thyroid:

TSH 3.63 (0.35 - 4.50)

Free T4 15.4 (9.5 - 23.9 pmol/L)

Free T3 4.8 (3.5 - 6.5 pmol/L)

Thanks, Maybe its the diet im on...

tell your doctor you think this is low and he'll tell you its fine....its all within the normal range, unless I missed something - (ya i know its on the lower end).

no offense but damn every guy who gets his levels tested and they are not in the top end of the range thinks they are too low? i mean they are in range, he isnt going to put you on TRt because your levels are within range (where they should be). that is where most guys levels are at unless they are on AAS, within that range.

If you come off your diet and get a bit over maintenance cals your levels will come up into a range you will be happier with. What's your cycle history? These levels seem good if you have been cycling as long as you've been on pm and you're on a diet.

Thanks guys.

Im on a lowfat diet(No direct source of Fat).No olive oil, fish oil, just the trace amount in Meat and fish.

45% Carb
30% Protein
25% Fat

Maybe i need to up the Fats... or just overeat a little like ridge said.

Thanks

upping the fat would def help,,,,do a search i think mountaindog had some good posts about how to up test levels by diet

Cholesterol is the precursor to testosterone production tin the body. Get more of it in your diet and your test will come up some.

a 27 year old shouldnt have total T levels in the 300s IMO (unless hes sleep deprived and its at the very end of the day)...

Whats normal for one person might not be for another. Some people can operate at 300-400 and feel fine, while others suffer from low T symptoms at 400-450.

In any event, I think a 27 year old should be in excess of 400, and most seasoned urologist/endos will agree.

When my labs were around 400 (after a year of no aas use), i felt like shit, depressed, fatigued and no sex drive....it wasnt until my doc got me to 600+ that i felt normal.

That "range" is the entire spectrum for all ages. Why someone in their 20s should be at the low end and be ok with that is beyond me.

I would get on 25-50mg clomid for a month or so

what was the LH reading?

:yeahthat:

i Hope whole eggs and steak will fix this up.... Ive been feeling like shit lately...

At least my Estradiol at 30 isnt that bad... So no gyno or feeling girly... Just no sex drive, fatigue,no motivation....

Thanks for the support...

Matt, when was this test taken? I believe (and anyone is welcome to correct me on this) that test levels are highest in the morning immediately after waking. If you took it later in the day, this won't give an accurate baseline.

Well from what I see is sub clinical hypothyriodism your TSH on the upper end of normal says this, even though your T3 and T4 are in range this also says possible with your low SHBG (although thats not too low ) mines been 7 and as high as 54, as you stated with T levels this is so with other hormonal levels, such as Your thyroid function.

This is what I would suggest.
Up Your EFA's to equal your BF% yes If your 20% BF take in equal amount of EFA's
Check your Basil body temperature 4 times throughout The day,for 1 week, average record if lower than 97.8 very strong indicator of hypothyriodism.

If low start upping your Iodine, start out with a ¼ of a teaspoon iodized salt twice daily in a glass of water and make sure your good quality multi vitamin has at least 180mcg of Iodine.

Supplement with 500mgs twice daily of L-tyrosine
Present these finds to your doctor.
Check and monitor Basil body temperature.

Pull a vitamin D 25 hydroxy blood test, almost very certain Your deficient, next to cholesterol, major testosterone and other hormone stabilization effect.

If low discuss with your doctor about Mega loading on Vitamin D3

Check TICB and saturation with ferritin levels direct link to hypothyriodism

Clean your diet up, rest enjoy life
