when you guys are dieting and cycling carbs what is the number of carbs you keep your meals too? i have been playing with some recipes for unflavored whey protein isolate and everything i come up with has what i feel is a large number of carbs for a meal replacement <24-36g>.. im trying to carb deplete for 3-4 days and then carb up but i work long shifts at work and the only thing im allowed is a quick protein shake that i can keep in my toolbox any ideas id hate to let this protein go to waste and i cant gag this stuff down by itself here is my last recipe i tried
1 scoop of whey isolate
8oz of skim milk
4oz of lanas egg whites
2 splenda packets
1 whole small banana (6.25" long which is in the range of 105g)
335 calories
37g carbs
0.3g fat
47g protein
