Help needed with backing up Outlook email folders and settings

Hello,

I want to reinstall Windows Xp soon, as I got a virus and after cleaning the computer doesn't work as smooth as before. I gives some strange erros and sometimes it justs hangs up... I want to backup Outlook Express emails and settings before reinstall, and restore afterwards. Any help?

Thank you for the reply. I did some searches on the net and found a program that does what I want:
Outlook Express Backup Genie

I think I'll get my feet wet with it and see how it goes.

Just a reminder, don't forget the following:

Favorites
My Documents
Desktop

And with Outlook Express, don't forget:

C:\Documents and Settings\yourusername\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{long alpha numeric string}\Microsoft\Outlook Express


all the .dbx files in that folder are your mail...

[edit] oops.. and do a search and then copy then import your .pst files if you use Microsoft Outlook, any version, 97, 2000, XP, 2003

(not outlook expess) (if you store your mail locally)
