I guess the idea is that the sponsers pay the site operator for putting their banners on the site and the board owner sends a donation for food.

I will DEFINITELY click on it every day and SPAM every board I am on I hope others will do the same.

It MAY be a scam it may not but since it doesn't cost any of us anything I think I will just change it to my home page so I don't forget.

I know there are alot of bros here who are MODS at other sites maybe you could post this at your boards. I know bodybuilding.com is a strange site but you have to admit they get a TON of action. If anyone here is a MOD there that would be a BIG help I think.

BTW I noticed that out of the 5 banners on the site 3 of the links are dead.

There are a number of these type sites. Some donate rainforest land etc. I use to go to them all the time, but lost track of the addys. I don't think they are a scam, but it does seem too good to be true....

Just wanted to bump this. It looks like it actually is legit.

Anthea Webb of the United Nations' World Food Program confirmed that it does indeed receive donations via the Hunger Site and labeled the project "innovative." According to Webb, "Cash donations equivalent to more than a million servings of food have been donated since the site opened in June 1999."

Even the website Urban Ledgends couldn't find a problem with the site.

Why the fuck would I do that?

What would possess any Patriotic American citizen to give a shit about world hunger?What you fail to point out is that the reason these people are hungry is largely because they have 5-6 kids each and they cannot possibly support them.Most of this food goes to Third World shit hole countries whose population could give a fucking rat's ass about Americans or our values.And likely countries that favor terrorism.So again,I ask you,why the hell should I care about them?

Its like the recent summit to stop the spread of AIDS in Africa.You will never stop that.So let them die.

It is time Americans and Europeans focus on their own populations.We have our own homeless and poor.Not to mention our veterans,who are treated like shit.Our government sends more then enough tax dollars in aid to these third world cesspools,personally I would send them shit.Its about time people wake up...

That's why I click daily on the feed an animal at a animal shelter sites.

It's just like the original post, but instead of feeding people, it feeds a cat or dog at a no kill shelter or a high kill shelter for a day. The sponsers donate money to feed companies or the actual shelter and pay the expenses.

Besides, I have found out that most animals are better to be around the people every day of the week, lol!

well then you havent been around long enuff to see my posts LMAO , But heres how i look at it , somebody sticks out there hand for help now you have the choice to walk away or help , ID STAY AND HELP NO MATTER WHAT RACE OR COLOR , yea taking care of america is a great place to start but even a bum on the streets of NY can get a meal from a shelter , in 3rd world countries your on your own survival of the fittest , help who you can while you can .
