I don't know much about this stuff, if it is premixed or not, but there is 1000 mcg in 1 mg. So, that is 5000 mcg for 5 mg. Common insulin U-100 syringes can hold 100 units; so if you fill a basic 100 units insulin pin of sterile water to mix, you still have 5000 mcg. Divide 5000 mcg into 100 units, you have 50 mcg for every 1 unit. So basically every 10 units or clicks on insulin pin, that would be 500 mcg.
