my right calf is just under 17" inches, my left is 15 and a half.. for the life of me i cant figure it out... ive even stopped training my right and just focus on the left, it just wont grow, ive done light weight high reps heave weight 10-12 reps, ive even trieds 100's nothing seems to work, even get it sore....if im finally able to get it sore i start getting excited but nothing has come of it, its been like this for as long as i can remember, is seo my last resort

I had the same problem with my entire right leg; it wasn’t till I started getting deep tissue massages did the leg start catching up. Sometimes knots and scar tissue can build up around nerve endings and keep it from growing. It worked for me.

Syntherol could be the solution indeed.

Do you have any sort of nerve damage in that leg? 2 inches is a pretty big difference man not sure how that could happen?

Do you have a better mind-to-muscle connection with the bigger calf?

I have a similar problem due to a mechanical issue i'm correcting. The inner gastroc of my bigger calf is so easy to contract. Not the same for the smaller one.

Muscle Activation Techniques have helped activate the inner gastroc.

Also gonna try some kind of massage to loosen up soleus which gets overly activated.

I have the same problem but 2 inches is alot. My left leg is slightly longer than my right so everything I do squats, leg press, hack squats, even cardio on the treadmill I could feel my left leg was slightly stronger and I was pushing more with it. For myself I had to train one leg at a time.

Bump. I put a similar post a while ago, just for a different body part, looking for answers. I am very curious bro if you took any action to level up your muscles and if yes how things are going..?

I feel for you bro. While I don't have one calf smaller than the other, I just have small calves. I'm 6'2 and train the shit out of my calves. They get decent cuts in them but I doubt they will ever look any "wider". I have accepted the fact I don't have the genetics for monster calves. I won't give up, though, because I don't want to look like BigBird.

As for your issue. Have you tried a technique called Self Myofascial Release?
Essentially it is a stretching/massage technique using a very dense foam roller (or anything cylindrical you can roll over the muscle).
