Sounds painful. First bi injection hurts bad enough the next day anyway.. lol. I think i must just be immune to infection lmao.. i havent had the flu in YEARS, nothing other than the occasional sinus shit, and im around sick people all the time.. im always sterile with IM injects, but i once dropped an open needle on the floor and still used it with no probs... never anything remotely close to an abscess or anything. Ive reused slin pins for subq for weeks at a time with no problems.. knock on wood but either im super lucky or have an extremely strong immune system

man exactly what benefit do you get from site injections
The test disipates into the tissues and into the cells

There is a MAJOR artery on the medial side of the arm that you would not want to hit

stick to the recommended sites for injection butt 3cc, thigh 2cc and deltoids 1cc

Keflex will not kill MRSA, bactrium is a better choice but it takes 2 double strength tab 2x day x 10 days.

I doubt its infection unless it is draining puss.... id watch it

most of these "abcesses" are irritants that cause knots from shitty gear
an Ultrasound would help clarify it

diabetics are notorious for reusing pins, and they rarely get abcess from it
it prob wont cause a problem, but can be painful as the neddle gets dull

Prob want to be Uptodate on tetanus shot... its rare but can happen if you drop a pin and inject w it

Thanks man. No fever, but it is very painful...not when my arm is bent, but when I straighten it out and when I press on or massage my bicep.

T prop/ Tren ace = No straight arms for 3-4 days here haha

Yea i know it's not...that's the only thing making me think it's not an infection. What really has/had me worried is the pitting edema...which i've never gotten before from a shot, even when it was red,swollen, and painful. Only time i've gotten pitting edema was with cellulitis...hence my concern. Still no fever tonight and the pain seems to be very slightly less, but redness is just as bad...maybe even a little worse and swelling still bad. Might also be slightly less hot to the touch.

Oh and I don't think it's an abscess at all. Doesnt have any fluctuance or any noticeable pocket of fluid. I was more leaning toward cellulitis.

Ok, yea no more biceps for me. I know about the keflex vs bactrim...I have both, still holding off on taking anything though, as it hasn't really gotten worse.
