I just need the bp control. Thankfully my hematocrit has never been highTelmisartan is a overall better blood pressure drug than Enalapril for a few reasons but Enalapril has a better chance to lower hematocrit

Absolutely. If the red blood cell and hemoglobin levels are elevated, it means the blood is already thick, which means it's necessary to donate blood, but the most important thing is to add saline solution IV immediately after the blood donation. If you donated 500 ml of blood, then 500 ml of saline solution will be added.
Yeah thats how you tank your iron and its hell to get back up.Also, you don't need to wait until your hematocrit reaches 55%, because then you'll have to donate several times in a row to reach 45%; this figure allows you to donate 1-2 times a year.
There's a special iron monitoring protocol. Before donating, it's essential to check your iron levels. You donate blood for the first time and use iron bisglycinate or an injectable iron supplement for the entire week. On the seventh day, you donate blood again. That's it. This protocol was given to me by one of the best doctors who treats polycythymia.Yeah thats how you tank your iron and its hell to get back up.
If you add saline IV after donating blood, your results may be maintained even longer, up to 6 months.I donate blood every 10-12 weeks and I've got quarterly blood work going back over a decade. My Hematocrit is always between 46 and 52 regardless of how much T I'm taking.
blood donors are still all alive))))Any worries about bone marrow from all the donating
Yes I mean long term as you become old, are there studies on decreased ability to regenerate red, white, platelets, stem cells etc.. As you age, you have reduced ability to regenerate, just wondering if frequent donation over decades can exacerbate thisblood donors are still all alive))))
Well, if you do it right, you'll only need to donate 1-2 times a year. And that's not a critical donation. That's my opinion. I'm not a doctor.Yes I mean long term as you become old, are there studies on decreased ability to regenerate red, white, platelets, stem cells etc.. As you age, you have reduced ability to regenerate, just wondering if frequent donation over decades can exacerbate this
1 cap of OTC iron got me back up in a month. That`s not hell or even hard. Maybe it`s hard for people with other health issues. Now I donate every 14-16 weeks, daily iron and my entire CBC is great, iron/ferritin good, no BP issues or meds.Yeah thats how you tank your iron and its hell to get back up.

The problem is always donating and tanking your iron. Then you get a rebound effect, still have high rbc/crit, probally low MCV, high RDW, low blood oxygenation, gasping for air. You have to fix the entire CBC, not just one factor or it will never work.
This is absolutely incorrect reasoning. What difference does it make whether your blood became thick from polycythemia vera or from TRT? It's a strain on your blood vessels, vascular damage, cholesterol plaques, blood pressure, and hello to heart attacks, strokes, etc. Yes, there are people who don't feel the symptoms of a high hematocrit, and that's the worst thing.Great interventions! I’ve been doing my own research but I’ve realized there are lots of American trt doctor ( like Keith nichols ) who say there is no problem with i high hematocrit, because there is no policitemia but secondary erithrocitosis. One of this doctors said that if you have an hematocrit over 60, you need to check your lifestyle. But is really common in trt users to see large numbers.
