I am not sure what it is but 3cc is a lot for a delt injection.

had that shit happen on time in my quad,but it finnaly went away after 5 or 6 days.I think in my case i didnt go far enough in,an the shit just sat in between my muscle an skin.

3cc is alot unless you have some considerable delt mass. But it is most likely the oil sitting in a pocket. Do not try to drain this. You will only complicate things! leave it alone and gently massage it.

Sounds like a haematoma. I've had two, both quad. If the lump gets hard and swollen, do drain it or there is some risk associated. If you're comfortable with draining this shouldn't be a drama. Blood will look thick, darker than normal with possibly some coagulation. If puss is evident, you need to re-assess. If just blood, drain for 2-3 days or as necessary and it should take care of itself. You probably won't be able to train the delt while you have it (or at least while swollen with blood). If it gets too painful or you're worried though, go to the docs.

You may not be able to tell whether infection or hematoma from trauma of the stick it self. Thats why awkward sticks are a problem becuase you end up jerking aroung the needle way to much. Since the othere side didn't get hoy, and you didn't re-use the needle, it should go away. Alot of what is being treated as cellulitis theses days i believe is a reaction to the drug/ba/volume shot into the site.
