I took these last Saturday (7-4-09) so as of these I'm 9 weeks out.

These are in my bedroom, I had to place the camera on a dresser with the timer, so the quality isn't that great.

Let me know what you think so far.

Front is starting to get leaner by the day! And your quad sweep has really come up a lot.

Obviously lower back will be the last place to lean out, so just focus on bringing up everything and it will come in time... it has to!

You look great, G. Can't wait for your final pics in 9 weeks. They should be awesome!! :)

Thanks JC! I've been try to bring up the quads this year a lot of heavy squats, hopefully they will hold and/or grow during the diet. And yeah I just hate that lower back fat! :mad: But I'm pretty happy with my progress.

Thanks Mr. Marcus and Queefer, I'm really following Phil's diet to the letter now, I must say that I am very pleased with the results and I'm starting to see on a daily basis now.

The training is definately getting tougher now on fewer calories, but I have a lot more size than last year. If all goes well, I think that I will be at least 10-15lbs heavier come show time.

Good base, nice back. Just get that body well condition and you will be do well. Keep up the hard work!
 
Last year I was a light heavy. I weighed in at get this...178! The next day I was about 185 or so, but I didn't restrict my water too much.

I did: starting on Tuesday, 3 gallons, then 2, 1 and only drank what I excreted starting on Friday, I got that idea from Emeric's post.

In those pics I'm about 206, right now I'm 200 even. I will post new pics on Weds or so.

This was me at 178 at my show last year.

Thanks Pesty, you are definately one who gives good luck, you told me the same thing last year and I was able to get a class win in my debut.

looking good bro...I would say your on schedule, but I dont know your body and metabolism...Some people would say your tad behind...But I think your fine at this point...Just keep banging away at the diet and im sure you will come in looking big and ripped...

Thanks Chris. I'm a little better right now than in the pics, those were mid last week. I will post some updated ones later in the week. I'm definately staying hungrier now (;)) and it's comming together, I have to just learn to trust and follow directions better, now that I'm following the diet EXACTLY as specified, it's really beginning to come together. I think that if I am behind, I will be caught up by next week. Hopefully.

How's Sarah's and your prep comming along?

yeah I wouldnt be worried as to where your at...I think your fine right now, and you have plenty of time...(I know 8 weeks doesnt sound like a lot, but where your at right now, you have good amount of time) As for Sarah, she is really stepping up her diet now, and getting into the grove of doing alot of cardio..I think she will suprise alot of people because her natural shape is really good...Her poses are much better now to...

As for my prep im doing great...I was thinking about doing the Continntal as a warm up, but with 8 weeks to go, I think I would be huring myself in the long run toward Nats..So im thinking maybe (MAYBE) the Ironmanm, but I dont know yet..Might just do Nats and be done for the year, then start getting ready for Jr.Nats for next year...
