Calves are one of my better body parts, and I haven't directly trained them in years. People have asked me many times what my routine is, and they think I am lying when I say I don't work them directly. Calves seem to be one part that is extremely genetic dependent. I know guys that focus on them because they are a weak point, but they can't seem to get them to respond much at all.
I wish my good calve genes would have spread to the rest of my body, everything else is very average.
