Gents, I need a little advice or insight on my elevated heart rate. I’ve taken several mild cycles over the past 5 years without issue. This cycle I’m on 400 test cyp / 600 primo per week. I started 4iu/night HGH two months ago and its my first time with HGH. My RHR has gone from 60 to almost 80 and oftentimes during the day my HR is 90-100 while just sitting which is borderline tachycardia. I tried lowering dose to 2iu but same thing. I ceased HGH and after a week it’s back to normal. I still have two months supply of HGH I don’t want to waste and love the effects of it othereise such as reduction of BF and enhanced muscular look. My questions are should I be worried about the heart rate? Is it dangerous? In your opinion should I just scrap the HGh and finish the rest of my cycle? Searching other threads leads me to believe this is not an uncommon side effect but not sure if this is dangerous.
Did you go straight to 4iu/day or did you taper up?? And how are you measuring your RHR?
I first heard and paid attention to this side effect when
@nothuman brought it up a couple years ago, but I’ll admit I was doing things wrong in terms of measuring it... First off I’d be smoking a lot of weed lol which increases heart rate on it’s own, at least initially, but I would smoke a bowl or bong hit every 30 minutes it seems lol.. And I would measure my RHR like while walking around the house or when I just sat down from doing stuff around the house or right after a huge meal (this can also increase heat rate) and my “RHR” would hover around 80-86 sometimes... And I stopped using GH a little bit after that but just for other reasons...
Fast forward to this year when I started again a couple months ago and I don’t have that side effect at all.. I don’t smoke weed anymore but I also measure my RHR when I’ve been sitting for a bit, I also practice lowering it with breathing correctly.. So if I’m walking around the house doing stuff and my HR is at let’s say 80bpm then I sit down for a couple minutes and it quickly does back down to around 66-68, so I know I’m good, When I wake up in the morning I measure blood pressure and RHR and it was constantly around 60-65bpm and 115/75 maybe 120/75 on some days...
I’ve only gone up to 2-3iu per day recently, and all has been fine in this regard in terms of RHR, I also tapered up.. I stared with 1iu for a couple weeks then 2iu (1 morning and 1 pre workout) and then 1.5/1.5 etc..
But before a couple years ago I was using around 4-6iu per day, but I still don’t think it was the GH for me as the people who experience this from what I’ve seen get it from 1iu or 10IU, not much difference.. But I have heard some guys say it goes away after about a week or so and goes back down to normal.. If yours has been this was for months you might want to stop and look at other factors that could be in play like bodyweight and bodyfat, blood pressure, what you’re eating, any other PEDs you’re taking, use of stimulants etc..
