hgh causing bone spurs?

Hey fellas, I was curious what your thoughts were on high (10+iu) of gh causing bone spurs to develop. For the better part of a year I have been running 10-20iu of gh. I have had to get both hips operated on, bone spurs removed, and now both of my shoulders have bone spurs in them as well. I have heard of a few other people having similar issues while running gh. Is it mostly a genetic issue or what?

never seen a need to run those dosages but its certainly possible it participated in accelerating the growth of bone , did running these dosages do anything positive for you ?

Absolutely! I was growing very well. I was running lower doses of anabolics with it.

It could accelerate growth of anything. But it does not cause the bone spur.

bone "spurs" are frequently an enthesophyte but at types could be an osteophyte. GH increased IGF1 levels which signal though these hybrid insulin receptors on bone and can cause osteoblast activation.. so yea sorta but not directly.

What I meant was that GH increases the activity to grow bone. But a bone spur occurs for a reason. Too much pressure or tension on an area. Some sort of force going through a bone will have the bone react with the growth of a "spur" in certain cases.

I don't think GH will make a bone spur if there is not an underlying reason for the bone spur in the first place.

absolutely correct. the thing is though that us guys who are pounding the weights day in and day out always have different forces acting on our bones at different attachments. so GH doesnt do it directly nor does insulin but i do think that it could contribute indirectly if bone remodeling was to occur at a supra level. Again, no "studies" have been done on this but it would make sense.
