HGH Testing - IGF vs GH SERUM

Been trying to figure out which is better. I guess both? I think the general testing practice is:

GH Serum Test - 10 iu IM 3 hours before serum test.

IGF-1 - Get baseline IGF-1 levels checked. After 7-10 days of GH use get it done again and see the difference.

I love using the serum test as a gauge. Just as you stated, 10iu Im 3 hours before. Exciting when I get a nice batch that test's in the 30's.

IGF-1 is better. Serum is fine but if your not converting to IGF-1 than serum means nothing. I personally dont waste my money testing serum. ive seen guys test serum with score of 20 and igf-1 levels of 400 and than guys test serum with score of well over 30 and igf-1 levels in 200s. igf-1 is really where you want to see results.

Didn’t a member on here just post the other day that he was using an HGH that serum tested 47 or some crazy number but his IGF was in the 170’s...

And no, I don’t think you need to be on for months for an accurate reading, I’ve seen guys get tested within 1-3 weeks of starting and having high IGF numbers ranging from mid 300’s to mid 500’s depending on dosage..

I believe IGF-1 is more user dependent. Not everyone converts GH to IGF-1 at the same rate or by the same amount. To determine if it’s quality I think GH serum is best. How much is converted to IGF-1 depends on the person and what the are taking st the time.

Couldn't agree more. IGF-1 is very individual dependent.

I always test both GH and IGF ... Latest results after 14 days pharma 3iu / day were GH - 15.2 (1 hour after IM injection) and IGF - 305 .... before I had GH - 0.3 and IGF - 188.

When taking “baseline” readings it’s important to consider the timing, diet, and drugs at that time.

Tren, bad sleep, high carb meals, and taking it late in the afternoon can all decrease your GH serum blood levels.

Ensure you are comparing apples to apples when you compare a baseline to “enhanced”

I’m not sure, it’s in the “HGH Bloods” thread.. Like 2-3 guys commented the same happening to them and I believe one went through a whole kit in that 2 week period... Other’s posted they had elevated levels after only a few weeks while others think you need to wait months to see elevated levels in which I’d disagree, I don’t think anything takes months for the body to process and see results...

I jsut recently talked to someone that is very well known in the industry and he says that igf1 levels on blood work are not a good indicator of how well the gh is working in your body. He said that there are way too many variables. And said he doesn’t recommend even getting igf1 done.

i always do it the way described:

GH for testing gh if legit when you first get a new kit, IGF for effectiveness of GH over time

Both are important cause you can be given igf1 peptide as gh and show up crazy high numbers..... but that isnt gh lol. gh serum test will actually tell you if it gh or not. so both.
