HGH vision problem - intracranial hypertension

A while ago I ordered a kit of GH and the morning after the first injection (1.5 IU) I had a kind of visual migraine where half of my field of vision was blocked out by vibrating zigzag lines. Since the visual artifact was the same in both eyes, I suspect the problem was further upstream (i.e., in the brain, not the eyes). It only lasted about 30 minutes.

I am very worried though that this might be a symptom of intracranial hypertension, which is a possible side effect of HGH, and I have not had the courage to try injecting again and see what happens.

Anybody experience anything similar?

Quite simply, don't inject any more and go see a doctor as something is not quite right, either with your body or the hGH you're using. Best to make sure you're fine first.

The HGH was good (Norditropin). I did stop and have been fine since. Funny, I'm always in the 1% who has sides from anything.

I have hear norditropin is not good, at all. I can't say form experience, but I'll try and find exactly where I read that and post a link.

Let me educate you. It is called Occular Migranes. A diffrent form of a migrane, without the pain but blurred vision. It is not from the brain, but the eyes. This was explain to me from a neurologist. It is not life threatening, I use to get them when taking Clenbuteral. I never heard of GH doing this. It could be something else that brought it on. Not eating for a period of time will bring this on, from lowered blood sugar, which will cause headaches.

I have hear norditropin is not good, at all. I can't say form experience, but I'll try and find exactly where I read that and post a link.

It is FDA approved for use in children, FWIW.

This happened to me the first time I tired Saizen. It went away when I lowered the dosage then increased it slowly. I didn't get it with hyge or glo. I tried generic green tops "jintropin", and it happened to me again. I have had it happen three times now and it lasts for about 45-60 minutes. It is very frightening. The one time I lost 90% vision in my right eye and 50% in my left.

No, this is not correct. An ocular or opthalmic migraine is from changes in blood flow to the area of the brain responsible for vision. This is why the visual disturbance often looks the same in both eyes (because it is not actually in the eyes, if it were it would take a big coincidence to look the same).

Yeah, it is very frightening, especially the first time when you have no way of knowing if you are going to get your vision back.

At least, given your experience, now I can be sure it was indeed the GH.

A guy on one of the other boards got long-term neurological damage from Tev-tropin. I don't know if there were other contributing factors in his case. I guess I'll maybe just give the kit away to a friend.

I am an experienced and self-certified researcher (my girl is an MD who has, some what reluctantly, taken me to the ER on more than one occasion resultant from one of my research studies gone array)... that said I would happily try out your product (in the name of science of course) and report bck my findings.
