HGH is a game-changer in fitness, general health, anti-aging, and, of course, sports and bodybuilding. I've been getting constant questions about how to use it for optimal results while minimizing side effects—what dosages to take, when, and how to administer it effectively.

I've prepared an in-depth guide for you. Check it out here 👉 The complete HGH guide

HGH is a relatively safe drug, especially considering its powerful effects. However, managing potential side effects remains crucial. One of the most notable side effects of HGH is its hyperglycemic effect—in simple terms, it raises blood sugar levels, which, over time, can lead to insulin resistance.

It's interesting to note that the clinical study-- HGH and anti-aging -- relied on a formula of few supplements in addition to HGH. Important pillar there is Metformin, which mitigate the hyperglycemic effects of HGH.

From my extensive experience with numerous clients, including multiple professionals, IGF-1 and HGH have shown exceptional results. In fact, IGF-1 may be even better suited for this role, while also offering distinct anabolic and anti-catabolic effects.
You may refer to this article - HGH vs IGF1 and their synergistic effect

Can I stack HGH somatropin and PEG-MGF?
Yes, HGH and MGF have a potential synergistic effect. While MGF may have more of of a paracrine (local) effect, HGH provides a systemic impact

Great, the below is the protocol I intend to follow do you have any helpful insights?

PEG-MGF (reconstituded with L-Carnitine) 400 mcg pre-workout and 400 mcg post workout divided equally intramuscularly into target muscles (i.e. Biceps, lats, chest)

HGH - starting with low dose of 2iu and will tirate up as body adjusts before bedtime.

Can I do the PEG-MGF every day at that dose or do only 2-3 times a week at that dose. Or is there a different protocol you know of?

Divide the HGH into 2 daily injection --- as you may see in the article - The complete HGH guide - there are clinical trial to support this. After assessing the reaction on 2 IU HGH, I suggest to increase it according to your results, but usually 3 iu per day is the minimum to achieve proper benefits. You may check this article for instance - HGH and Anti Aging - the dosage was 0.045iu per kg, so even for anti aging somewhat higher dosage is preferable .

I have less experience with MGF, but I'm aware to the different protocol, I suggest a trial and error, and if it's not a bother simply inject it daily

Preworkout is one of the beat time to take GH due to least amount impact on insulin, dont know anyone ho had lactid acid build up from taking it preworkout.

Currently stacking GH, PEG-MGF, Tesamorelin, GHRP2.
Have you experienced any sides with the HGH? I have trigger finger and elevated fasted glucose levels. I started taking 1000 mg of Metformin but still having the elevated glucose levels. I also lowered my dose to try and get rid of the trigger finger but it still won't go away. I forgot to mention I'm also on 180mg of test cypionate and 500 iu's of HCG split twice a week plus the 400mcg of PEG-MGF 3 times a week. Any insights on getting this under control would be appreciated, I am seeing great results but with these concerning sides.

How many units? How fast did your titrate up?

I started with 2 iu's stayed at that for about 2 weeks then went up to 4 iu's I started having the trigger finger then dropped down to 2 iu's. I didn't even think to check my glucose till 2- 3 months in.

I’ve always read and been told 1iu per month and if having sides go back down for a bit. I started checking my BG later too. Could try Berbarine timed with meals and try your GH at night post-meal, pre-bed. Monitor for increased RHR and sleep quality.

I started taking the metformin I read somewhere that I could combine it with Berberine how much do you take?

I actually just stopped the HGH Monday, once the trigger finger goes away I will start up again at 1 iu and tirate up slowly. Chase Irons recommends doing every other day to help avoid the side effects. So it would be 2 iu's every other day to still get the 1 iu daily dose but supposedly with no sides. We'll see how it goes, today is day 4 that I've stopped the HGH but I still have the trigger finger. Hopefully my body resets soon and I can start back up. I was having great results besides the trigger finger and the elevated glucose.

trigger finger could also be caused by something actually preventing that tendon from sliding freely, i just had trigger finger surgery on the middle finger, now it is "freed up" and no more trigger finger,, i had cts surgery in 2024 and after that my "trigger finger" appeared, strange tbh, but now its done and feels alot better all things considered,, stitches come out in 2 days,,

Today has been 2 weeks since I stopped the HGH, and I still have the trigger finger. The thing is, I only felt it in my two pinky fingers, and now I'm starting to feel it in my other fingers. I got my bloods back, and my fasted glucose on the day of the blood panel was 88, my HbA1c was 5.3, so that seems to be back on track. Now I need to find out what is causing this annoying trigger finger/s.

You could get a "shock test" to see if you have cts, Your dr will have to order the test, also, ulner nerve compression is also a thing to look into, especially when the ring&pinky finger are concerned,,
