Guys, Im in need of some advice after surgery for a hiatal hernia in February. Since I am only 23, and didnt want to risk future health probelms i opted for the surgery now. Doc said it was one of the worst he has ever seen and i believe that as i was vomitting daily. Though i dont have the acid reflux and vomitting anymore i still suffer from a variety of things...Nauseation, severe bloat (especially with water, and it last for hours), lack of appetite, etc. I might want to mention i am on no gear. Went back to doc two months after surgery and he put me on prevacid. After about four days of this i was worse than when i started, i figured my food was ferminting so i quit taking the prevacid. I decided to get my digestion in gear and have been taking bromelain and hydrocholoric acid with meals. It helped some but When i eat now, im almost immediately feeling full, not a satisfied fullness but like theres something else in there taking up the space possibly gas. I eat very small quantities, (if i try to put more in i feel i could vommit) continue to be bloated, occasionaly nauseated. All this makes training HELL, I went back to training in May. With the surgery alone i have lost 25 lbs. Today i started doubling my dose of Vit C to help reduce any inflammation of the stomach lining. Im open for anything, I Need RELIEF. Also, bowels seem to be normal. Any thing would be greatly appreciated, hopefully someone has had this surgery. God Bless
