High Cortisol

I am asking on this forum because I know there's a lot of guys on here knowledgeable when it comes to blood work.

Can anyone help me decipher this blood work?

Cortisol came back high.

I don't know if this is just kinda high and I shouldn't worry about it or if this is extremely high?

I have been under going some major financial changes and having extreme fatigue the last 4 weeks despite getting 8-10 hours of sleep per night.

Besides stress management is there medication that can be taken to help with high cortisol? I feel like I really just need something to help while I go through these changes of my business (self employed).

Not that far out of the reference range, nothing I would be worried about personally.

what did the doctor say, was anything else off? you can google one of the issues is a small pituitary tumor (doubt you have it), but the doctor would know if its that or just stress, or if like the other poster said its not that high.

A doctor suspected I may have this because my sodium was low he tested my cortisol, prolactin, etc and it was all in range. Did they test prolactin too? Sodium and potassium?

I ordered the tests myself due to having some extreme fatigue and disorientation. Trying to figure out why. If it is stress/anxiety besides stress management and lifestyle factors I'm not sure there's anything I can really do or a doctor can do. My experience with anti anxiety meds just make me more tired.

I'd go to an endo get complete blood work, sodium, thyroid, prolactin, cortisol again, see what all is out of whack and if stuff is find the underlying cause.

Could also be medication, reading through threads it seems like everyone is on loads of medication now days it boggles my mind how much we rely on that shit..end of rent lol.

But the high cortisol could be an indication of something underlying you need fixed or just stress but an Endo can help. I've been feeling Simi for a while, sodium was low they thought I had a small pituitary tumor but my cortisol and prolactin we're fine so I may be just drinking too much water. I am following up with an Endo myself cuz we can't really figure it out on our own issues like chronic fatigue imo, not an easy fix.
