A CRP above 1 doesn't feel uncomfortable... but the normal CRP range is 5-10 mg/l lol
Also, here's a simple example: when I had whooping cough, my CRP suddenly rose to 76, but it was a toxic immune response, and after literally seven days, it was down to 4.
CRP is a very sensitive inflammatory marker, and even a simple tooth infection can suddenly cause it to rise to 20-30 for a short time.
A quote from a medical website:
CRP levels help doctors distinguish the type of infection and assess the severity of inflammation:
5–40 mg/L: May indicate mild inflammation, a viral infection (e.g., cold, flu), or recent trauma.
40–100 mg/L: Often suggests an active bacterial infection or a more serious inflammatory condition requiring further investigation.
Above 100 mg/L: Strong indication of a severe bacterial infection, systemic infection, or exacerbation of chronic diseases.
Above 300 mg/L: Very high values that may accompany sepsis or severe multi-organ trauma.
It is also important what kind of CRP we are talking about - a standard test or hsCRP, because these are two different markers.
