If it is really a problem get your doctor to give you Rx to give blood then the blood bank will allow you to give again before the 6 week period. Alternatively, find another blood bank in the area and go to both until your levels are where you want them.

I was at Suncoast Blood bank last month to donate blood. A guy came in to donate blood per his physician orders. The Tech said they have to pay 40.00 dollars for a Rx phlebotomy, but if they’re on physician prescribed TRT, it’s free. The blood banks want blood from those on TRT. The tech didn’t know why, but they have been told to get as much as possible.

I've been refused twice due to being on TRT. I need to get a script.

I never mention I'm on TRT when I donate blood. I guess it depends on the organization whether or not they will "defer" you based on TRT.
