My hematocrit is 54%, got bloods done Friday. I'm only on 250mg week but I'm in UK and not allowed to donate blood because of gear use. It's on my record.

Does anyone know how I could lower it? I know there's cupping but my local centre is fully booked and i don't know anymore.

Can you get a phlebotomy where they just dump your blood that's what I do cause I can't donate either.

I have no idea about TRT in UK but 250mg a week seems to be extremely high for TRT.

About blood, can't you just pinch your vein and drain half a pint or something?? I don't see a logic explanation as to why another human dressed in white in a hospital bed has to do it for you if its the same procedure. Stick a needle in a vein and just let it drain. Just make sure the blood runs into a measuring cup that way you know when to stop.

Self bleed seems easy enough. I tried an could on get about 4ozs. Took aspirin, plenty of water. Dam needle gets stopped up.

Made my own little setup using a 3ml syringe and a 15ga needle which I change each time obviously. I took out the plunger, installed a little brass fitting with a nipple and got some rubber tubing that fit the nipple. Took a quart chines soup container and marked off one pint. Put the lid on and drilled a hole the size of the tubing. Inserted the tubing in the container and the other end to the brass fitting. Put a clean needle on the end of the syringe and poked a vein. Had to hold it there in position so the blood would flow. It filled up the pint pretty fast. Did it standing up. Works like a charm. A better alternative is to buy a case of evacuated sealed jars in pint measure. They are available on line. You can use a smaller need le and sit down. They literally suck the
blood out of you!

Iv tried few times, ended up with holes all over. Needle stopes up. This may be ticket. Definitely give it shot.

Try 20-30 minutes of daily cardio, it will take about 2-3 weeks and your crit will be down, it works in almost all cases. If you want to find out why it works, search exercise induced anemia.

Drop your weekly dose down to 80-140mg a week injected subq every other day. Reduce protein consumption below 150gram a day and reduce high iron foods.

Check and see what the standards are in UK regarding elevated hematocrit if you are outside the range you may be able to get a Dr. To give you an order for blood drawn.

Dropping the dosage, injecting subq every other day will be the quickest way to reduce it. Cardio and staying hydrated help as well.

I got my phlebotomy ordered by DR that way ins covered it.. go to a clinic and see if you can get it done that way.. will save you a few bucks
