High PSA levels and HGH

My PSA levels have gone up each year over the last 5 years. My last test a couple months ago was at 5.1. I’m only 48 and my urologist said that’s extremely strange for my age but wanted to do a biopsy. The biopsy came back negative for cancer but he said my prostate it twice as large as what he expected. My PSA levels are high due to the enlarged prostate. I’ve been on 125mg a week of Test for 20+ years and 2.5iu of HGH for the last 7 years. Could the HGH cause my prostate to grow? Anyone have any issues similar to this? Any help is appreciated.

Of course its possible hgh has caused that growth or triggered something. I`d discontinue Gh for 3 months and check it again.

I've been running test (a bit higher than you, probably at about 200-250mg/wk) for almost the last 20 years. I'm almost 60. I knew my prostate was enlarged, simply because I have to get up every night to pee, and when I was in my early 40s, that never happened.

My latest bloodwork showed a modest rise in PSA (was like 7.0 and previously was around 5.2), and so I got an MRI. Everything came out clear for cancer, but doc confirmed that my prostate is twice the normal size. He didn't seem too shocked by that. I think prostate enlargement is pretty common for men as we age and is not due solely to anabolics.

I think DHT compounds likely have a greater effect on prostate than GH. Perhaps you never take primo or mast, but I could tell a difference with my prostate when I run mast.

Some have reported that even small polyps have grown in size due to gh usage, wouldnt surprise me at all if the gh assisted in the prostate size as it can also enlarge polyps and guts etc… feet, hands, head… so yeah could be…

I have been on Dr prescribed TRT for over 25 years. As well as cycles. And used HGH for replacement at around 2 i.u. for over 12 years. My PSA went from .4 to .8 with 4.0 being the top of the range. So no real increase for me.
