I can't say for certain what's causing your midday-evening BP rise.

If I was to guess, I'd say either; electrolyte imbalance, increased sympathetic tone (a rise in cortisol, norepinephrine) or a reduction of the nitric oxide system.

How's your sleep pattern? And I'll harp on my favorite to blame condition, sleep apnea. Any possibility of sleep apnea?

reading some of the links that you have-I have allergies and can't breath for shit, so that probably explains some of it...didn't know that was a factor till I read the post

OK ran in to a problem here.... i donate blood at 10:30am. the following day is my blood test it's at. Noon....

Will I be hydrated enough? Any tips stewie? Just drink water like a boss? Maybe pedialyte???

Fluids, fruits and vegetables, you'll be fine. Try not to overdue it on fluid intake, which may cause excessive urination, in which could lead to dehydration. Drink when thirsty.

This is lined towards staying hydrated. Not that it will lower your hemoglobin/hematocrit. It'll regulate the homeostasis of fluid, giving one a more accurate reading on their HH status.

I went to a hematologist and she just let me get a phlebotomy. Hopefully she will let me get another one next week so my hematocrit will lower even further, giving me some nice piece of mind.

Will donating blood help lower this? Doctor was a bit concerned with how high it was.... if it does work... how many days before should I get this done?
