High Test / breathing issue.

Addition after ruling out the obvious causes like heart failure, asthma, etc.

do u have any of these??

1.) sinus congestion/ post nasal drip

2.) heart burn

3.) did u take cialis in the last few days?

4.) anxiety stress?

If you go to a pulmonolgist and have ur pulmonary function tests done make sure you ask them to measure ur respiratory muscle strength. pi max and pe max. I am willing to bet ur pi max is severely low.

Do you feel like your chest is too big? i remeber u mentioning that u started out at 150 and are now 250. u think that u have so much mass on ur chest that ur ribcage cant handle expanding? I have honestly thought off getting surgery and removing my pectoralis muscles lol Thats how annoyed i am.

Like tenny said though sometimes the breath goes in if you do a semi yawning breath. kinda open ur mouth and breath half through ur nose half through ur mouth..

One last thing, have u ever been tested for sleep apnea? Does ur wife ./gf tell u u snore a lot? Do u have a deviated septum or any nasal abnormalities?

Yes i do have bad postnasal drip and allergies, also sinus problems, thats why dr. gave me piles and a spray.
Also have anxiety and stress and been on paxil for 5 years.

All symptoms you and tenny said i have, but i had these problems since i was a kid, just now when im older it gets worse. Goes away then comes back and it is annoying as hell.

Also my throat gets kind a dry and thight too and i feel theres like something inside and i try to cough it out

That's how I felt when I had cardiomyopathy and an ejection fraction of about 35%. I couldnt mow my 1/2 acre lot without taking about 4 breaks during the summer. the problem was discovered with an echocardiogram.

Chances are youre ok, but it could be sometihng heart related. What is your resting heart rate at, say when youre lying in bed when you first wake up in the morning? When mine was bad I would wake up and my heart rate was like 115 bpm.

Maldorf. I had checked my hart 3 m ago and all is good. Dont know my resting HR in the morning as i never checked but in the afternoon when watching TV is about 75

Sounds good then. Id be most likely to go with the panic attack explanation.

Those are the symptoms I have. It sounds like asthma caused by allergies. Like you need to cough, but there's nothing to cough out. It feels like "Itchy" throat and lungs and of course hard to breathe.

Take a quick breath in and listen: if there's a "delay" like you breathe in and the lungs keep filling with air a couple seconds later = asthma.

I've always had mild allergies, but a couple years ago I was in the middle of a lecture when all of a sudden, my lungs locked up on me. Asthma caused by allergies was the culprit.

The doc gave me: Allegra, Symbicort inhaler and albuterol. Works great. For some reason when I use test, any over 250 a week, I need to use a bit more asthma medication.

happens to me with cyp not enanthate, weird huh?

I get this also. Feels like you can't take a deep breath. You try to yawn to fill more air in lungs. Gets real bad when you are anxious about something. It is definitely gear related, well that makes it worse. I have found the following has made this mostly go away for me.
1) Lower dose of gear, NO TREN
2) Lower body weight, get more ripped as opposed to bulky looking
3) Get in MUCH better cardio shape. This helped the most. I started doing a lot more intense cardio. I even added swimming laps which is very good cardio.
Hope this helps

Fears and Ehren I sent u a pm..

DADo are u drinking a lot of shakes? Do u have heart burn?

I do drink at least 3 to 4 shakes a day. Dont have heart burn, at least dont feel it.

Im lowering T to 1k. Lets see if that will help.

Found interesting site about this. Many people complain about same issue i have and looks its:
Chronic Hyperventilation Syndrome constantly and slowly depletes your blood of carbon dioxide. With too little carbon dioxide in the blood, receptors that should be bonding with CO2 end up bonding with oxygen instead. Ironically, your blood ends up having too little free oxygen available to your body's systems and organs.

Also stress/anxiety will make sensation of not being able to breathe so when you try to breathe deeply you throw off the CO2 levels.

Here is the web site.

Yep! It's still initially caused by anxiety though so you'll either have to stop steroids or change your psy meds I'm afraid.

You can try to get breathing help but I know of two people (and have heard of more) for whom this actually made the whole deal worse. Probably because you become even more focussed on the breathing thus making it even more stressful.

For guys on high Test E did you ever experience heavier breathing while on it like let’s say 2k a week?
I’m having difficulty breathing, seems heavier and sometimes my lungs can’t catch full breath. Comes to the point when I try to catch more and more air I hyperventilate and start feeling dizzy.
I was at dr, yesterday and he checked everything and ended up I have very severe allergies and little stress. Due to bad allergies my air way is restricted.
I don’t have problem while doing cardio, don’t have chest pain or anything like that. Water retention 0. Blood pressure 118/75.
Question is, could this also be related to high dose of Test E? (4th week on it) Maybe oils and or frequent injections cause this?

Got prescribed steroid nose spray and high Allegra pills.

Hey Dado, it could be something as simple as the weight gain from your supps? Might sound dumb but when i get over 230ish (im 5'08") i get winded doin simple things such as tying shoes but when im training im fine. Ive woken up tryin to catch my breath several times and my doc says its caused by stress and a panic attack. Your BP is gtg and i dont see any reason why the Test E would cause this. If you have a stressful job/lifestyle it might just be anxiety. Doc can check your O2 levels and should be able to help you out. If not, go to a different doc! Best of luck bro!
