Hitting weak parts 2x when dieting?

Arms are my weakspot, so offseason when im trying to get them to grow I hit em 2x per week. If your dieting(not contest, just dieting) should you still hit them 2x per week or is 1x sufficent since no new muscle growth will be occuring.
 
I think its different for everyone. To be honest if I want to bring up a bodypart I generally train them less often and/or less volume. Some guys train them up to 3 times a week. But like you said your really not going to be growing much new muscle tissue while on a calorie defict unless assited. So I think once a week will do to maintain what you got.

Just my opinion.
 
When I used to diet I would just kind of coast through my workouts thinking I wouldn't be growing anyway. I was wrong, I started a new routine while dieting and I've been getting bigger and gaining all kinds of muscle. You can still grow even while dieting, of course I was on cycle and using LBA's. My routine was 50 rep sets, anywhere from 2 to 6 sets per body part. The pumps were sick and it shocked my muscles into new growth. You want your calves to start growing, try 3 sets of 50 reps, and see how sore they feel the next day.
