I'd use a fertility clinic if you have no lab which does does a sperm analyse but its expensive.
Testosterone stimulates Sertoli cellsI wouldn't say that HMG is necessary for everybody. Everyone is an individual. For guys who haven't been on gear that long, or have done cycles with breaks in between, or who have used HCG to maintain fertility even when they were on steroids, many of them can certainly recover only using HCG. Some guys can recover their fertility just going off all gear and taking nothing. And some guys could get their wives/girlfriends pregnant even on a heavy cycle of Tren and Deca, although for most that would be unlikely. But everyone's an individual when it comes to gear use and their response to it.
However, simply put, your body needs two things to make sperm. You need LH to stimulate the Leydig cells of the testicles, which raises your levels of intra-testicular testosterone and does 20% of the work in making sperm. And you need FSH to stimulate the Sertoli cells of the testicles, which do 80% of the work in making sperm.
HCG is a long-acting analog for LH, so as long as you are taking a reasonable amount of HCG, you will be adequately stimulating the Leydig cells. But HCG does nothing for your FSH levels and stimulating the Sertoli cells. If FSH is low, then to raise FSH, you either need to go off all gear and take Clomid, or stay on gear and take HMG or recombinant FSH to stimulate the Sertoli cells for optimum fertility.
Test + HCG + either HMG or FSH is a great combination for long-time gear users like myself who are azoospermatic (zero sperm count) and desire to regain their fertility.
It certainly worked for me, even at the age of 52 after 28 years of using steroids, and now I have my 11-month-old baby daughter keeping me up all night and causing me to get no sleep LOL. But she is a blessing, and I wouldn't trade her for anything in the world. And I didn't even have to go off test to make my wife pregnant, just added in HCG and HMG.
So that is what I would recommend to other men who are long-term gear users in the same position.

Thats correct but exogenous testosteron don't rise your FSH levels and so consequent your sperm count goes down, but everybody is different, I know a guy he never heard of HMG, is twice per year on stage and has 3 kids. Others run a harsh PCT protocol, have a good spermiogram and aren't able to get their wife pregnant!Testosterone stimulates Sertoli cells
I used 75 once per week of sour/direct's hmg here on this board and his prices are very cheap (think, a Starbucks per week)Running menopur myself right now, would be nice to know if any of these Chinese generic hmg vials were legit. This is costing more than running pharma gh lol

Kept me going
I didn't do blood workDid you do any bloodwork while you were on for FSH and LH, or a semen analysis before and after?
Just asking because it would be great to find a generic HMG that works well, but the generics I tried were bunk when I did bloodwork, and didn't help raise my sperm count. So I used pharm HMG (Ferring Menopur, IBSA Merional). But it cost me a small fortune to have my baby daughter.
I haven't tried Direct's, so I hope that it works. Guys need an an affordable option. That would be great.
i am running Direct's right now although I ran out. He assured me good reviews (i checked on Outlaw) and there were some very positive stuff on there. Not going to jump into the pharma HMG yet, but might have to.Did you do any bloodwork while you were on for FSH and LH, or a semen analysis before and after?

I figured id post this up as I couldnt find this information anywhere.
So im currently taking Menopur HMG 75iu 3x a week since March in combination with 1500iu HCG. I have restored fertility using that protocol while on TRT and i wanted to know if I could drop down my HMG dose as its rather expensive.
I did an injection of 37.5IU HMG 24 hours prior to blood draw. This registered as a 2.9 miu/ml which is WNL although on the lower end. Given the half life i am going to reduce my HMG dose to 37.5IU 2-3x a week and continue with my current dose of HCG.
This should be plenty of maintain sperm production for the time being. I dont think it would be enough to really get things going again from the beginning though. So guys who are on AAS or TRT and who want to regain fertility this information may be useful although i would suggest getting your own labs
Check your blood FSH levels. Its certainly more expensive then running GH. There wasnt any data that i saw on blood FSH related to HMG dose so for me its good to know i can cut down on my dose a bit.
At one point the HMG was costing me about 120 a week. Its harder to get FSH now that the FDA has the biologic ruling for compounding pharmacies
I’ve been cycling on and off for around 10 years. Had my sperm count checked and it was at 2 million. I came off everything and ran hcg, hmg, clomid for 3-4 months and got my sperm count up to like 20 million or so. Hmg is def the key in my opinion for getting sperm count up. But even after 3-4 months off gear my fsh and lh were not detectable they were so low.
Mofossss everyone is different. I been on hcg and hmg from past 17 months . I still had azoospermia. (Zero) sperm. Long story short went to a specialist urologist in Houston mohit khera . The very first time he told me I got varicose vens . So finally he did a surgery to fix em up now waiting game 72 days I should be good. But fuxk it i started 200mg test .so it all depends
