25 is fine it depends on where you are injecting (what muscle). Also 1/2 is a very small pin.

25g should work fine for most oils. I always pin with a 25 or 27.
But yea, 1/2" is way too short.

i've never seen a 25g 1/2 inch needle i have 25g 1inch and it works fine, thats weird how many cc's is it cause mine is 3cc, insulin needles r usually 1/2inchers starting from 27g-31g but i could be wrong its just that i've never seen them where i buy my pins at

You need a 1" pin to get down into the muscle, especially if you are pinning more than 1cc. Heat a cup of water in the microwave, set the loaded pin on top of the hot cup (keeping the pin dry) for a couple minutes to warm the oil for an easier push

i would use a heating pad and heat the gear up for like 10 mins or so and then pin it it will move it much faster

Like said above you need to go deeper.
0.5 inch is not deep enough and you will just get a lump on the injection site cause the oil didnt go inside the muscle but under the skin instead.
Also I like 23G cause I shoot 2 cc's in 10-20 seconds. The 25 is small.

Draw with a 18 to 20 gauge and then switch out for 23 gauge it aint bad at all

will be alot faster also go up to 1inch pins

Honestly I draw and pin with a 22-23 gauge 1 in for everything I never have any issues.... gh I use 29 1/2in

25g is kinda small no patience for it

If your bodyfat is low enough, you CAN use a 1/2 in needle on your delts. It will go far enough into your muscle and not be "right under your skin"
