I've got another funny story, this one comes from a friend I lift with on occasion. Really cool kid, strong as an ox, he competes on a state level and is hoping to move up. We were talking the other day and he told me that he had gotten some gyno in his right nipple following the conclusion of his last cycle. Mind you, this wasn't like man breast gyno, but a hard, peanut sized lump directly below his nipple. He went to a doc and he was going to have to spend 2,000 to have the offending lump removed. That seemed like alot of flow, so he decided to take matters into his own hands. He went to a medical supply store, bought a scalpel and stitching kit. Then with his mothers supervision, removes the lump at home and has him mom sew it up, she is a nurse. He said it bled like crazy and hurt like hell. But he got it out and had no problems with the healing process. He went back into the doc and he called him an insane bastard, but he complimented him on the quality of the stitching. If I ever get any lumps, I think I will just have it removed by a professional, but to each his own.

No offense, but that was pretty a pretty stupid thing to do. The risk of infection, cutting into a nerve, bleeding control issues and not to mention the pain. And His mother!!!! what the hell was she thinking? If this got back to the wrong people, she could lose her license and kiss her career good bye. I would highly recommend letting a doctor do this in a sterile and controlled environment. I would say this kid got lucky this time.

lol...that's pretty hardcore. Performing surgery on himself. However like others said it was stupid and he's lucky there wasn't an infection. Imagine having a huge concave hole in your chest from removing the lump and an infection eating ate the muscle and tissue away.. Not to mention the nerve damage. ouch...

Yea - that was tatmark, who I believe ended up as a mod there.

After GotFina went down he spent some time here for a couple of weeks. Then he fell off the face of the earth

yea - tatmark is an EMT so he had some level of exp but i still dont think we will be seeing this procedure on diynet.com anytime soon.
