Homemade pre-workout non stim

I was searching and couldn't find any threads on this. I havent done premixed preworkouts for over 5 years. I found them to be filled with too much garbage, fillers, artificial sweeteners, 200-400mg caffeine etc.

I mix the following.
Peak ATP(400mg)
Glycine
Citrulline Malate
Beta Alanine
Creatine Monohydrate

Question- does anyone add L-Arginine in addition to the Citrulline? I read some articles saying they work well together. I'm looking at Bulk Supplments AAGK powder but i also see other forms of L-arginine like Arginine Silicate Inositol, etc. Can anyone chime in on differences or efficacy with AAKG powder vs other forms and if the added arginine with the citrulline is indeed the way to go?

I'm of the belief that L-Arginine is going to make little difference along side a big enough dose of Cirtulline Malate (6g+).

If you're interested in something else, I'd take hard look at Alpha GPC for your stack.

5g citruline
500mg agmantine
Hydromax glycerol …I forgot what I used to do…maybe 2g?

In one liter of water….add 1tsp salt.

If you want a turn key pre workout…the gorilla mode is pretty damn close to perfect….expensive, and I don’t like supporting non board sponsors…but it’s a good mix you could copy

In my opinion AAKG powder is much different than L-arginine and blows regular arginine out of the water. It can dilate your vessels no problem. I never used Citruline but I tend to use such little AAKG that I would not want anything else to dilate my blood vessels when using it.

Oh yeah good call i take the GPC and Citocoline as part of the nootropic stack.

I was looking at the hydromax too. Its in an MRI Black product i forget which one

Sorry not answering your question, but figured I’d add my formula

I do:
10g L citrulline
3g beet root extract
1g sodium
1g horse chestnut

Crazy pumps and vascularity with this alongside my 10mg Cialis intake in the morning on training days. I also take nattokinase and pycnogenol in the AM which I would assume are helping the circulation.

Then if I want stim I wash it down with an espresso

EAAs and creatine in the intra along with more salt

Yeah i went with the Bulk Supplements AAKG. I read a few places that the arginine isnt as effective for sport as you suggest.
I'm a light weight with medications and was always a responder to low dose AAS. AAKG to me is extremely strong and I would use the tiniest bit when adding to shakes as it could easily make me feel anxious and/or dizzy. Take it with caffeine and it makes the caffeine seem so much stronger. When I was younger I could function feeling like I was on speed, now a days its recipe for feeling like shit. I stopped using AAKG because the juice was no longer worth the squeeze. But it works.

This is the best one i have made to date. The pumps are insane, the stamina for cardio, and recovery is noticeably improved. For cardio/abs only days i add just a taste of caffeine @50mg.
To save time, once per week i assemble everything into 7 of those small plastic takeout containers you get at chinese restaurants for soy sauce.
