Here is my most recent Hormone Panel from 9/27/24

I guess what I’m asking is, any concern for the low Albumin and SEX HORMONE BINDING GLOBULIN scores? Anything you would suggest? No concern ? Looks good?

Just looking for some experienced members feedback.. I appreciate it guys …

Post a pic- the download isn’t working. Would be helpful if you had your other markers as well. Low globulin could indicate anything from liver or kidney damage to malnutrition (inflamed GI). You really need the full picture with all blood work to know.

I am on Stelara, diagnosed and treated for ulcer colitis in June 2022.. the Stelara injection is once every 2 months.

These look like TRT range markers. What’s your current cycle?

The numbers are normal for TRT. Your globulin is 3.5 which is the bottom of the range which to me would suggest you may need to work on your gut health. The exception would be if you had kidney or liver markers out of range, but generally this close wouldn’t indicate to me that those would be the issue.

Edit- just saw your above post. Makes complete sense and would really focus on natural gut health in addition to what you’re already doing.

Likely your GI issues. If you can improve those a bit you should be able to get it back up into the ideal range.

Stelara is an immunosuppressant, as you may be aware. This could open the door for the susceptibility to acquire a bacterial or viral infection. Not always, yet noteworthy. In which case could punch your albumin in the dirt. This would be something to discuss with your treating clinician, being so, the lower your albumin gets, this may affect the pharmacokinetics of Stelara. And other albumin bound drugs. Basically, not being optimally therapeutic. The rest of you chem panel and differentials would be very useful.

As for your SHBG, what's your trig's, glucose, insulin and HbA1C. If you have those?

It would be helpful and ideal if you ran current bloodwork and did a full CBC, lipids and comprehensive metabolic panel.

I can’t speak for @Stewie but I personally don’t like giving any suggestions off of old bloodwork unless it’s within a few weeks.
