ok guys i had little accident in week,fell of extension roof landed on my heel,arm my heel real painfull,so went to hospital yesterday,after i had x-rays the doc was asking me about steriods,an if i take them,she went on to explain that when you fall like i did your leg can shatter a lot worse if you taken steriods,any input on this guys!!

Sounds like horseshit to me...taking steroids make your muscles bigger which wrap around your bones, adding more protection.. I mean, certain steroids decrease tendon strength but that doesnt mean your leg will "shatter" because of it.

If im not mistaken Testosterone increases bone mineral density...and like stated above more muscle = better joint strength

Cortico steriods cause bone loss(thats like predinson,etc). They are not used for muscle building, they can actullay cause muscle wasting. They are used for inflamation. They are very bad on the body, but sometimes necessary.

Anabolic steriods can cause an increase in bone density.

Well-all that extra muscle your carrying makes it a harder fall,double your body weight quadruple the impact energy ,other than that shes talking bollocks my freind

Yeah right.
That shouldnt have anything to do with a fall.
Obviously the bigger you are the harder you will fall and might cause more damage but she had no real reason asking you shit like that.
Its the steroids that made you fall off the roof
