Hot new weight loss method ok'd by the FDA

Get a load of this method just approved by the FDA. To me it sounds like nothing more than a fancy method for bulimia. Pathetic if you ask me and unhealthy I would think. I don't see how this is really much different than throwing up your food other than it saves your esophagus from getting burned up from stomach acid.

That's my first thought. Just allows people to binge without as much consequence.

Wow - this does not address the most likely cause of the issue at all: overeating.

I guess it would prob only be used for those individuals who just can't stop (i.e., addiction)

Have seen some of the data from trials, lots of side effects. But we're talking about the same fda that approves orlistat

While it sounds horrible, variant roc surgery often cannot be reversed, but is one of the only reliable means of weight loss for a segment of the pop. We pay for all the diabetics via insurance payments .. Whatever gets my bill down ..

Good point you make here! This procedure should be less expensive than doing gastric bypass too.
