I was always under the impression that glucose levels would be to high possibly leading to type 2 diabetes. Something about the insulin secreted will not he utilized leading to insulin insensitivity.
This was published in the Journal of Endo from a gh study.
My only issue with their findings would be the diet the research subjects were on.
In conclusion they stated that blood glucose levels need to be monitored closely in patients being treated with gh.
This gh increases insulin resistance which is why best time to take is post workout, because you have the exercise induce glut 4 trans-location, which will clear blood sugar without presence of insulin, but blood glucose will still rise. there is no point in having high blood glucose, especially if you want to build muscle, and it is negative to your health.
Using GH without a Blood glucose monitor is a bad idea and for most people insulin or igf-1 will be very beneficial to keep BG down.
