I've been prescribed TRT by a doctor through a clinic for a while now due to secondary hypo, that being said I've never mentioned it to my other doctors. It is not in their "systems" but once I tell one of them, all of their systems seem to be connected so they will all know. I'm worried about being treated differently so I have not mentioned it. I'm near 30 years old so most of these doctors think I don't have a legitimate reason, the real original cause of my low levels are a pituitary microadenoma and/or prior opiate use as a teen I'll never know for sure but I think it was because of the suboxone I was prescribed at a young age. Pituitary microadenoma is a common brain tumor found in 10-20% of the population, usually without symptoms. I think mine was just there by chance and has nothing to do with low T. Once I found out I had low T I went through hell trying to get treated, doctors trying to give me a bunch of bullshit that didn't work (clomid etc.) after months and months I declined those routes and went to a clinic. Which leads me to now, I use TRT and anabolics at what most people would consider cruise doses with great results and I'm healthy and happy. I now have a checkup coming up with a specialist for the pituitary microadenoma, I know they will ask me about what I've done for the hormone issues, because they will see my results of having low T from years ago. One final thing to add I know doctors who will use scare tactics on me but nothing they say will get me to change my treatment plan as it has improved my life drastically.
This leads me to a few questions, hopefully some of you have experienced something similar.

- Do I just keep this to myself to avoid extra drama/issues or is it best to be transparent?
- Can this being on my records hurt my future insurance coverage plans because of "pre-existing conditions" (is this even a thing)?
