How do you avoid piercing outer veins?

unless your one pasty toned guy to usually see somewhat underlying veins near surface it really is just a roll of the dice... you may miss a vein but hit a vessel and get same end result and never really know... if you do weep blood just be sure to apply steady pressure to stop bleeding so doesnt leak out and pool under skin to give you a nice little bruise/hematoma of sorts...

there's no big trick here. if your outer veins are visible on say, quads or delts, then consciously avoid pinning through. other than that, if you nick a vein as you inject then you will get a little blood after you withdraw your pin, you just gotta suck it up. it's not the piercing a vein you should worry about, it's the injecting into a vein that should concern you which is why we aspirate.

Aspirate once your in, if theres nlood pull it out because your in/near one. Other than that if you can't see them on the surface there isn't a lot you can do.

after a few pins i can tell when i go through a vein but I keep going and it must go through the other side there is like a vibration i can feel in the syringe while pushing through when I finish and pull out there will be some bleeding sometimes a bruise not a big deal no worries Now hit or come close to a nerve

But I'm a white as can be ginger so I can see them on the surface fairly well lol even with a higher bf. lol

One tip, or thing that seems to help: Gently put the pin on your skin wherever you want to inject and if it hurts there, move it over a millimeter. I mean it doesn't have to be much. I've noticed when I go ahead with a shot that hurts from the get-go, I usually regret it. There's often a nerve or little vein right under there.

another thing commonly looked past is drawing with one pin and injecting with another. you want the needle to be razor sharp so it slices like butter. at most, if you feel the muscle twitch and think you've hit something, aspirate and make an educated decision based on the result.

Hey, when I first started I used to shoot with an 18 gauge needle! Damn harpoons! It was the only needle my dealer had access to for some reason, before all this internet stuff!

holy fuck was I so going to bring those up LMAO yeah, those oil pipeline of needles had no trouble getting that whopping whole CC where it needed to go quick fast and in a hurry LOL 23's are my go to's now tho for deep IM, they are a nice happy medium of fairly quick draw time if the oil is slightly heated, unless has EO in mix then dont bother, along with a decent push time and minimal discomfort at pins site generally... of course smaller volumes I reserve for 29's slin... again the trick is still slightly heat the oil to help expedite the draw time... the rest is down hill from there... unless there is a fire in your immediate living area an extra minute or two isnt going to kill you LOL
