I have been working out off and on (when off usually due to back injury) since I was 16yrs old, Im now 28 I have always had a problem with the mental part of body building example if I am doing flat bench press I will put up 280lbs 8 times and the next week I will do the same weight and try to put it up 10 times but when I get to the 6 or 7 rep I start thinking about getting to the 10th rep and I come to a complete stop like my muscles give out, I know Im capable of doing at least 10 reps but its the whole mental part that I cant get past.
I put this thread under the power lifting section because if anyone knows the mental part of body building its strongman/powerlifters, if anyone has ideas or can help me it would be greatly appreciated.
